Finally: Mayor Menino gets involved in the police-shootings controversy, though Attorney General Tom Reilly’s comments seem to carry more political and moral weight, sadly. In fairness to Menino, he's defended Police Commissioner Evans in the past, but what's he supposed to say? Dump Evans? He's still not exhibiting much leadership.
