Globe on target: The Globe ran a very balanced editorial this morning that Hub Blog previously missed. There are a lot of people, on both sides on the police-shootings controversy, struggling to avert this becoming a NY/LA farce. ... Postscript bonus question, No. 2 (see item below): What's missing in both the print and online versions of the Globe editorial? Answer: Mumbles. This is a very complicated, nuanced controversy, which obviously explains Mayor Menino's embarrassing absence.
