The death penalty, by the numbers: Hub Blog goes back and forth on the death penalty issue. A few years ago, I was all for it. Today, I’m not, largely because of proven, monumental screw-ups by the legal system that put innocent men on death row. No matter what your position is on the death penalty, this column by Jeff Jacoby strikes me as cold, almost sick, in its body-count method of argument.
