Marxist critic Terry’s Eagleton’s partial rejection of academic ‘cultural theory’ on the grounds it's “shamefaced about morality and metaphysics, embarrassed about love, biology, religion, and revolution, largely silent about evil, reticent about death and suffering.” ... Hmmmm. Sounds like a tardy post-Berlin Wall rejection of Marxism in the making, if only Eagleton would pull on that string a little harder.
