Pro anti-laissez-faire laissez-faire: Dunkies is meeting opposition in the North End? Good. The corporate chain restaurants have done so much to wreck the architecture and ambiance of too many neighborhoods/suburbs/towns. Keep 'em out. They're real-estate vultures who wait for others to rebuild/maintain/start neighborhoods -- then use their financial clout to muscle their way into neighborhoods they once shunned and/or will dump in a minute if they falter. Scram, Dunkies. ... And bring back our crullers! ...
