'The gulag of our times'?: The historical comparison between the gulags and U.S. treatment of prisoners is simply gross and shows Amnesty International has never really appreciated the magnitude of the carnage within the gulags. So how will Amnesty International describe Darfur from now on? ... Silent denial on one end and obnoxious hyperbole on the other. How stimulating.
