'Bush Set To Unveil Barn-Door-Locking Plan,' Part II
I'm not convinced. He doesn't even know how to close a barn door. He says Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki supports the plan. But that obviously isn't true. ... Far be it for me to give Congressional Democrats advice, but I wouldn't try to block the president on this. It's a minor -- and insufficient -- surge that he's going to do anyway. Therefore, hold him accountabe for the results. That's something Congress hasn't done in the past. ... Tufts' Daniel Drezner asks some good questions. ...
