Retiring at the age of 43 with $40,000 a year for life? Who gets that in the private sector? ... Look at all the other Bulgers on the state payroll. It's gross. ... The abolish-the-income-tax referendum looks more than just tempting. It may be the only way to send a signal to these people that enough is enough -- and I don't care if some think it's 'just a dumb idea.' ...
