Senator Caroline?
I hope it doesn't happen. I admire her just the way she is. She'd probably make a good senator. She has a dignified charisma. She has a politician's shrewd sense of timing. She displayed a moderate's wisdom during the vice presidential selection process. But sometimes a person's power resides in a mystique protected by privacy. She'd lose that privacy if she became senator -- and therefore might lose the power and mystique that's won her admiration. ...
