Poor Tom Finneran. … There I was, reading the story, and I thought, “So this is why he won’t criticize fellow politicians on air.’’ That and his lobbying aspirations. … Howie’s going to have a field day with this.

Update II -- Adam R had roughly the same reaction as I did: "No, Tom Finneran's not a journalist. But as a talk-radio host, he really needs to be able to speak critically about the powers that be. Assuming he wants to do his job well, of course. And what does he do instead? ..."
