The Reformer strikes
James Aloisi -- who will have to
recuse himself from certain undefined T and Turnpike deals due to multimillion-dollar public payouts to his old law firm -- is hailing a
'break-even' transaction as a great 'reform.' ... Of course transponders aren't really frigging 'free' if you have to pay monthly fees for them, sort of the way Ma Bell used to 'rent' phones to customers. But this is the type of smoke-and-mirrors malarkey we're going to have to put up with -- so get used to it.
