'What would Galileo think of that?'
Everyone has spending preferences for the economic-stimulus package. I'd like to see more funding for projects like this. It'll employ thousands of scientists, engineers and mathematicians -- and have the added benefit of drawing our best minds away from the tragic non-productive financial wasteland of Wall Street.
