The Legislature is the problem
Hub Blog hopes the public is finally making a connection between the Sal scandal and 50-plus years of one-party rule on Beacon Hill. Governors have come and gone over the decades. But the one-party Legislature has always remained. ... Think of the behind-the-scenes wranglings of Sal and Dianne etc. Now think of the behind-the-scenes wranglings by reform opponents. This is the legislative culture in Massachusetts. They're so incestuously embedded with each other that they even share, refer to and partner with the same damn criminal-defense lawyers.
