Jon speculates on Gov. Patrick's dismal poll numbers. He's on to something about reforms etc. But there's a deeper trust problem. How can you trust a guy if you don't truly know a guy? Take reforms. He promised to change the Beacon Hill culture. He then tried to adapt to the Beacon Hill culture. Then he seemed to stumble back into reforming the Beacon Hill culture. No one is giving him credit for the reforms because they're not quite sure whether he really wanted reforms. This general pattern applies to a lot of other issues. ....
