Deval's best friend
Tim Cahill. ... Deval's dismal poll numbers aren't surprising. What's suprising is Cahill's continued lead over Baker. This
hints at part of the problem. Baker's choice of a running mate didn't help matters on his
right flank. But there's something more to Cahill's candidacy beyond name recognition and GOP infighting: He's got support, apparently, from an odd assortment of Independents, old Reagan Democrats, more than a sprinkling of hacks, Tea Party types, and disappointed Deval fans who could never vote GOP, etc. ...
Moving on to the Senate race, Martha seems determined to
bore everyone to death. ... I still find it hard to believe she'll lose. I'm looking at Brown, at best, barely topping 40 percent.
Update --
Joan on Cahill: "Call him the loner in love with his ambition to be governor."
