'Straight out of Evelyn Waugh'
Though it's depressing to think how America’s diplomatic cables can so easily be spilled across the cyber world, I agree with this observation: Some of the cables are really well written, showing sharp minds at work. It’s refreshing as well as reassuring. ... OK, maybe they're not all at the Evelyn Waugh level. But at least they're not all at the Tom Clancy level.
