Whitey's defense: Dementia?
You got to wonder if it's an act or real. But the L.A. Times
describes Whitey at the time of his arrest as an "old and ailing man" -- one who "seemed addled, befuddled." Other Santa Monica residents reported that "his mind appeared to be descending into dementia and paranoid rage," the LATimes says. ... I sense a defense-strategy forming here, whether or not it's medically legitimate.
Update -- Peter saw a
perfectly healthy Whitey at court yesterday. ... Kevin had the
same reaction.
