'Kevin White: The mayor who wanted more'
Marjorie Arons-Barron has a terrific post on Kevin White's legacy and his non-stop dream of moving up the political ladder. He definitely had a bad case of Potomac fever. She also makes a point that I failed to mention in a previous post: how bored White seemed during his last years in office. As good a mayor as he was for most of his time at City Hall, White and the public were definitely ready for a change by 1984. ... Via DK.
